The Commissioner for Education and Knowledge Management, Dr. Fredrick Ikyaan, in collaboration with Topaz Olivetti Limited, Consultant to the EDUPORTAL project, is pleased to announce the school onboarding onto the EMIS/EDUPORTAL, a state-of-the-art Educational Management Information System (EMIS). He was at Josephines International International School, North Bank, Makurdi yesterday to witness the kick-start of the onboarding.

We invite all public and private schools to take advantage of the window period to register and onboard onto the EMIS/EDUPORTAL. This opportunity will enable schools to leverage the platform's benefits, including streamlined data management, improved accountability, and enhanced collaboration.

Benue Govt Warns Against Data Falsification In School Census

Education Secretaries from the 23 Local Government areas and 10 area offices in Benue State are participating in this training on data capturing as part of the 2024/2025 School Census in the State. The State Government is using the census to gather data on the status of schools, as well as to address corruption in public schools in the State.

Benue Govt Introduces Education Management Information System

The Benue State government has commissioned the Education Management Information System, EMIS-Eduportal, to provide modules for teachers to share lesson plans with students and parents in advance.
Benue is the second state after Kaduna to set up this system.
